My name is Aaron Morgan, I am 29 years old I am from Basingstoke. Welcome to my site. Here you will find regular updates about my racing activities, including results, my sponsors, photos and onboard videos of my races.
I have been involved in motorsport all of my life. I started motocross racing when just 7 years old on a 50cc LEM. I quickly joined a race club and over the next 8 years progressed to 65, 85 and 125cc bikes, racking up a number of wins and podiums along the way. However in 2006, when just 15 years old, my motocross racing dream was cut short. An accident on my favourite track left me with broken vertebrae and paralysed from the waist down. I very quickly realised how lucky I was to be alive though and have not looked back since.
Very quickly after leaving hospital I returned back to college and then university to achieve a 2.1 in Sports Science from Brunel University. Always a very sporty person I initially started playing wheelchair tennis. However I soon realised this did not fulfill my thirst for speed, and after passing my driving test when 16 years old I was offered the chance to get back into a race car. I became the youngest ever person to achieve a National B racing license before making my debut on the Production BMW Championship grid in 2011. I achieved my first points scoring finish and was awarded the ‘driver of the year’ award in my first season. In 2015 I moved to the incredibly popular BMW Compact Cup Championship and have raced in this series up to the present day. My best championship position was 17th in 2018, which was also the year I achieved my first top ten finish at Thruxton.
Looking into 2020 I have an potential opportunity to drive the Team BRIT Aston Martin Vantage in the Britcar championship. If you are interested in helping me achieve this dream, please contact me using the details on the ‘contact me’ page
