After the extensive post season scrutineering, I am happy to announce that I finished in 20th position in the 2019 BMW Compact Cup championship out of the 47 drivers.

The season did not go anywhere near as well as I had hoped it to at the start of the season but I tried to bounce back as best I could. The season started well with two strong results at Brands Hatch but this all went wrong with the double DNF at Oulton Park. I was then able to put two strong races in at the 43 car grid at Snetterton but being overly cautious in the third race cost me once again. I had a great start at Croft but was then taken out midway through the first race which spoiled that momentum. The rest of the season was then plagued with fuelling surge issues ruining my end of season charge.

As you can see it was a very up and down affair but to come out in 20th position is something I am happy with. The field in the Compact Cup gets more and more competitive year on year with drivers such as Rhys Claydon and Oliver Faller showing in their first season they were capable of podium finishes. My focus now turns to the 2020 season to see which championship I will be driving in. That being said, I would love to return to the Compact Cup paddock if an alternative opportunity does not arise
