After a very difficult season for myself I am happy to announce that I finished the 2017 Championship in 23rd position. After blowing up my engine in the opening race of the season gave me the worst start to the season possible. This also meant that I had to miss round two at Oulton Park and my mistake at Silverstone National meant that I missed a total of five races. Taking this into account I am happy with this finishing position in the championship. My favourite race of the season was definitely in race one at Silverstone national, where I achieved my best position of the season and made my best overtake of the season. I am very proud of how I raced during this one. However there were a number of times during the season that I found myself not feeling totally confident in the car and sometimes my lack of aggression at the start of the races cost me dearly. This coupled with my traditional bad starts were key reasons that I did not finish higher in the standings. However there are exciting plans for the winter that may have a massive difference to my future races in the Compact Cup. They have been in planning for most of the 2017 season but they are now becoming reality

As always I am hugely grateful to my sponsors Allied Mobility, RAW motorsport, Bartley BMW Specialists and City Gate Automation for their continued support through what has been a difficult season. I would not be able to continue racing without them and hope I have been able to help them achieve their aims through sponsoring me. If you are interested in sponsoring the team for the 2018 championship, please contact me and then we will be able to discuss a package that is mutually beneficial to us both. I look forward to hearing from you
